The 3 Little Pigs (Youtube)

Art/Hands-on Activity: Use construction paper to cut out bricks, straw, and sticks to create the 3 houses in the story. As the child practices a skill (practicing sound target, answering WH questions from story), allow them to paste a piece of each of the houses on paper.

Sound Target practice: This story is great for students practicing the "f" sound. Target words: huff, puff, wolf, etc. Reinforce each of the words and show your child how to make the sound (top teeth on bottom lip). Practice each 5x!

Rhyming Games: As you read, make cards of words. After the story is over, make rhyming words for the words you found. Example: pig/big, huff/stuff, house/mouse.
