iPad Return Information

Greetings Parents and Families!  As you know, eLearning will officially end on May 15, 2020 and we will say goodbye to this unique and unprecedented school year.  Many of you are probably relieved that the official “home-schooling” is closing. 

We do have a plan for collecting iPads, chargers, cords, reading books, and library books.  We will plan to give your children their own school supplies back and personal items that were left behind on March 13th .  We have worked hard to create a safe way for everyone to exchange these items.  This is how it will work:

  • Parents will come to the 18th street parking lot at the assigned times.Please see schedule below.
  • Parents and students will remain in their car.
  • Parents will get into their classroom teacher’s line. It will be well marked.
  • The classroom teacher will greet the car (from a safe distance).
  • Our staff will collect items from you.Please have all items in one bag to pass out the window to our staff members.If you have multiple children, each child should have an individual bag with all of his/her items to return to their teacher.
  • Our staff will quickly sort items and provide you with a receipt for the items returned.
  • We will hand you one bag with your child’s supplies.
  • Our staff will be wearing masks and gloves.We ask that you consider wearing masks as well.
  • Teachers will wave and give “air hugs” and smiles as they wave goodbye.
  • Our goal is to be efficient and to keep the lines moving.
  • If you have more than one child at Edgelea and do not plan to come to each separate grade level drop off, we certainly understand.We do have Wednesday night scheduled to accommodate multiple children in a family, however, we do not guarantee that all teachers will be working that evening.
  • We are also available on Friday by appointment. We will bring items to your car at a specifically scheduled time.
  • Our goal is to accommodate you and to make this work for our families.We just ask that you call our front office in advance and let us know of your needs and we will do our best to make it happen.

3rd grade – Monday,               May 18       9:00-12:00 noon     

4th grade -Monday,                 May 18      12:30-3:30

 2nd grade -Tuesday,                May 19      9:00-12:00

1st grade -Tuesday,                  May 19       12:30-3:30

KDG- Wednesday,                   May 20        9:00-12:00

All grade levels-Evening Exchange-Wednesday       May 20       4:00-7:00 pm
