ELearning Assignments for April 20th-April 24th

 

Do these every day of ELearning!

Read 20 minutes a day.

Do at least 20 minutes of Dream Box a day.

3rd Graders do at least 10 minutes of Reading Eggs per day.

You will need your iPads, paper and a pencil to do your assignments.

April 20th – Have a Magical Monday       

3rd and 4th Grade Reading

  1. Go to the assignments on the Kids A-Z app on your iPads.
  2. Read/listen and take the quiz for Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

3rd and 4th Grade Writing - On Showbie, there are helpful hints for this assignmentJ

  1. If you have not read Goldilocks and the Three Bears on Kids A-Z, read the story.
  2. 3rd Grade: What lessons did you learn from the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears? Write 3 sentences.
  3. 4th Grade: What lessons did you learn from the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears? Write 5 sentences.
  4. Take a screen shot of your work. (Hold the Sleep/Wake (on/off) button on the top of your iPad and quickly click the Home button at the bottom of the screen.)
  5. Turn that photo in on Showbie under the assignment: Bear Lesson

3rd and 4th Grade Spelling

  1. Write these words two times each:

    Earth, recycle, climate, reuse, environment, cleanup, plant, tree, trash, nature

  2. Take a photo of your finished work on your iPads.
  3. Turn that photo in on Showbie under the assignment: Spelling April 20.

  3. Go to 2nd grade math and do H6 – Subtract two two-digit numbers-with regrouping.

April 24th – Have a Funny Friday!  Tell someone a jokeJ

  1. Go to the assignments on the Kids A-Z app on your iPads.
  2. Read/listen to the book: Whose Tracks Are These?

3rd and 4th Grade Writing

  1. Type your sentences that you wrote on Wednesday about how the two stories are alike on your iPad in the Pages app.
  2. Edit your writing: Did you start each sentence with a capital letter? Did you end each sentence with a period? Did you check your spelling?
  3. Take a screen shot of your typed sentences. (Hold the Sleep/Wake (on/off) button on the top of your iPad and quickly click the Home button at the bottom of the screen.)
  4. Turn that photo in on Showbie under the assignment: Typed Compare Bears.

  2. Go to the IXL app on your iPads.
  3. Go to 2nd grade math and choose I3 Addition with three-digit numbers - or I5 Addition word problems up to three-digits.
