ELearning Assignments for April 13th-April 17th

Do these every day of ELearning!

Read 20 minutes a day.

Do at least 20 minutes of Dream Box a day.

3rd Graders do at least 10 minutes of Reading Eggs per day.

You will need your iPads, paper and a pencil to do your assignments.

April 13th – Have a Marvelous Monday

3rd and 4th Grade Reading

  1. Go to the assignments on the Kids A-Z app on your iPads.
  2. Read/listen and take the quiz for Fall Forward, Spring Back.

3rd and 4th Grade Writing The IXL app has a speaker icon that will read questions to students. Please have students SLOW down when they work. If they get a question wrong, the app will give them immediate feedback. They need to read the explanation, so they can correct mistakes.

  2. Go to the IXL app on your iPad.
  3. Go to 2nd grade Language arts and do SS1 – One or more than one?

3rd and 4th Grade Spelling

  1. Write these words two times each:

    butterfly, ladybug, umbrella, weather, warmer, tulip, flower, April, grow, robin

  2. Take a photo of your finished work on your iPads.
  3. Turn that photo in on Showbie under the assignment: Spelling April 13.

 

3rd Grade Math The IXL app has a speaker icon that will read questions to students. Please have students SLOW down when they work. If they get a question wrong, the app will give them immediate feedback. They need to read the explanation, so they can correct mistakes. Students need to write the problems out on paper and do the work. They cannot do 2-3 digit addition and subtraction in their heads.

4th Grade Math The IXL app has a speaker icon that will read questions to students.

  3. Go to 2nd grade math and do I2 (This is the letter “I” and the number “2”) – Add multiples of 10 or 100.

April 15th – Today is banana day! If you have a banana at home, pretend to use it like a telephone.

April 17th – Have a Fantastic Friday!  

3rd and 4th Grade Reading

  1. Go to the assignments on the Kids A-Z app on your iPads.
  2. Read/listen to the book: Wiggly Worms.

3rd and 4th Grade Writing The IXL app has a speaker icon that will read questions to students.

  1. Go to the IXL app on your iPad.
  2. Go to 2nd grade Language arts and do SS3 – Pronoun - verb agreement.

3rd and 4th Grade Spelling

  1. Type three sentences using your spelling words in the Pages app on your iPad:butterfly, ladybug, umbrella, weather, warmer, tulip, flower, April, grow, robin. Your sentences must be at least 7 words long!
  2. Take a screen shot of your typed sentences. (Hold the Sleep/Wake (on/off) button on the top of your iPad and quickly click the Home button at the bottom of the screen.)
  3. Turn that photo in on Showbie under the assignment: Spelling April 17.
