Music Activities for April 27 - May 1, and May 4- 8, and May 11- 15

1)Sing "Pole! Pole!" to one of your family members. Choose two of your favorite African animals to sing about. Have your family member. echo you.   (Pronounced polay polay)The students know how to sing this. The students played the drums while singing the song.  They can tap their lap or a bowl or pan & you can pat the beat after them. Here are the words to the song:

Pole! Pole!  (Echo student)
Go slow!  Go slow!  (Echo student)
Pole! Pole! (Echo student)
That's where the animals go. (Sing together)

Look outside and what do I see? (Echo student)
I see an elephant looking at me. (Echo student)

2)Watch "Wee Sing in Sillyville" part 1 and part 2  Sing along to the songs you know.
You will need to watch this on You tube music.

3)Watch "Wee Sing in Sillyville" part 3 and part 4.  Sing along to the songs you know.

4)Sing the song, "Bingo."  You can look this up on you tube music if you want to.  My favorite link is:  Flickbox Nursery Rhymes.  Clap when the dog is barking on the letters.

5)Sing the song, "Old MacDonald Had a Farm."  You can look this up on you tube music.  My favorite link on you tube is:  Super Simple Nursery Rhymes.

Learn how to sing the song, "Skinnamarink."  My favorite link on you tube music is:  Disney Frozen, Elsa and Anna Sing a long nursery rhymes.

6)Listen to one of your favorite songs and create a dance to go along with it.  Teach the dance to a family member.
