3. Literacy Activity: Preschool, Kindergarten, First Grade
Watch video (link below) or read book together if you have it:

Practice retelling the story with your child with the following puppets. Practice following directions by cutting and gluing targeted animals onto popsicle sticks or card stock. Example: "Glue the animal that came after the goat in the story."

Art/Hands-on Activity: Create your own web. Cut paper into strips. Each time you practice a skill (WH questions, following directions, speech sounds) give your child a piece of the web to glue onto the paper. Provide an outline for your students to glue the paper strips onto. 
 
Generalization: Talk about where each of the animals in the story live. Compare and contrast animals in the story. How are each of the animals the same or different?
